Reporting To: Managing Director and Board of Directors Company Background: Our client is a multinational firm with the core of its business to be a holding corporation of multiple sustainable, renewable agriculture and forestry projects. They have over 100 combined years of experience in the agriculture and forestry sectors. They aim for feasible projects to develop and operate for environmental impact, social impact and community development. They have a focus for West Africa with agriculture waste conversion in Ghana. Job Overview This role’s purpose is to ensure that all support activities are carried out efficiently and effectively to allow the other operations to function properly. We are looking for a dynamic head of administration to plan the most effective administration procedures and lead a team of professionals to complete a range of administrative duties in different departments. Responsibilities ?Planning and coordinating administrative procedures and systems and devising ways to streamline processes. ?Maintain staff by recruiting, selecting, orienting, and training employees; maintaining a safe and secure work environment; developing personal growth opportunities. ?Accomplishes staff results by communicating job expectations; planning, monitoring, and appraising job results; coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees; initiating, coordinating, and enforcing systems, policies, and procedures. ?Provide historical reference by developing and utilizing filing and retrieval systems. Maintain continuity among corporate, division, and local work teams by documenting and communicating actions, irregularities, and continuing needs. ?Ensure the smooth and adequate flow of information within the company to facilitate other business operations. ?Manage schedules and deadlines. ?Monitor inventory of office supplies and the purchasing of new material with attention to budgetary constraints. ?Achieve financial objectives by anticipating requirements; submitting information for budget preparation; scheduling expenditures; monitoring costs; analyzing variances. ?Oversee facilities services, maintenance activities and trades persons. ?Organize and supervise other office activities (recycling, renovations, event planning etc.) ?Ensure operations adhere to policies and regulations. ?Keep abreast with all organizational changes and business developments. ?Perform any other duty as may be reasonably required from time to time.


Required Skills / Experience

?Post graduate studies (MBA) in business Management,finance or related studies is essential ?In-depth understanding of office management procedures and departmental and legal policies ? Must have minimum 15 years experience as Administration Manager in a medium to large (100 employees) organization. ?Experience in banking sector a plus
