As the Area Sales Manager, you will play a crucial role in expanding our market presence and sales of F&B machinery in West Africa. This role requires an experienced professional with a strong background in machinery sales, a deep understanding of the F&B industry, and a proven track record in managing sales operations across multiple countries. If you are ready to take on a challenging and rewarding role that involves strategic planning, relationship building, and achieving ambitious sales targets, we want to hear from you.

 

Duties:

- Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy for West Africa, including market analysis, target setting, and forecasting.

- Identify and prioritize potential clients, industries, and markets within the region.

- Establish and maintain strong relationships with existing clients while actively seeking new business opportunities.

- Collaborate with the marketing team to create effective marketing and promotional materials tailored to the region's needs.

- Attend industry events, trade shows, and conferences to promote  diverse machinery and network with potential clients and partners.

- Prepare and present sales reports, performance metrics, and market insights to the senior management team.

- Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and market dynamics to make informed decisions.

- Effectively manage the sales pipeline, negotiate contracts, and close deals to achieve and exceed sales targets.

-Continuously seek opportunities in untapped sectors and pinpoint the most suitable machines for market introduction.

 

 

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, business, Sales, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).

- 5+ years of experience in machinery sales, with a strong focus on the Food and Beverage industry.

- Proven track record of success in sales and sales management, particularly in the West Africa .

- Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.

- Analytical mindset with the ability to identify market trends and opportunities.

- Willingness to travel frequently within the assigned regions.
