Duties

• planning teaching, including lectures, seminars/tutorials and learning materials
• meeting students individually to discuss progress
• checking and assessing students' work
• pursuing research
• interviewing potential students
• carrying out administration, such as attending faculty meetings and writing reports
• writing research proposals, papers and other publications
• managing research budget

Qualification Required & Experience

• Have a BSc. in Plant Science or related disciplines and a PhD in Plant Systematics with expertise in Classical and Molecular Systematics
• Exhibit the capacity to work in a team and promote the development of Plant Systematic programme, grantsmanship and state-of-the-art research
• Should be in a position to teach other Basic Plant Science Courses
• Should not exceed the age of 45 years by August 2022
