Responsibilities:
Business Development:
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the designated market segment (FMCG or Agriculture).
- Research and analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences to develop effective sales strategies.
- Develop a robust pipeline of potential clients through cold calls, networking, referrals, and other lead generation methods.
- Collaborate with marketing teams to align sales strategies with promotional campaigns and product launches.
Client Relationship Management:
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, addressing their needs and concerns to ensure customer satisfaction and retention.
- Conduct regular client meetings, presentations, and product demonstrations to showcase the value of our offerings.
- Provide excellent customer service by promptly responding to inquiries, resolving issues, and maintaining open lines of communication.
Sales Performance:
- Set ambitious sales targets and work diligently to meet or exceed them on a consistent basis.
- Develop and implement sales plans, forecasts, and budgets to achieve sales goals and contribute to the company's revenue growth.
- Monitor sales metrics and KPIs, analyze performance data, and adjust strategies as needed to optimize results.
Market Analysis and Strategy:
- Stay updated on industry trends, market developments, and competitive landscape to adapt sales strategies accordingly.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather insights, feedback, and market intelligence to inform product improvements and new offerings.
Reporting and Documentation:
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of sales activities, leads, client interactions, and other relevant information in CRM systems or databases.
- Prepare regular sales reports, presentations, and forecasts for management review
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Agriculture, or a related field. Advanced degree is a plus.
- Proven track record of successful sales experience within the FMCG or Agriculture industry, with quantifiable achievements.
- Strong understanding of market dynamics, customer behavior, and industry trends specific to the chosen field (FMCG or Agriculture).
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Self-motivated, results-oriented, and able to thrive in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
- Proficiency in using CRM software, Microsoft Office Suite, and sales-related tools.
- Willingness to travel as required to meet with clients, attend industry events, and explore new opportunities.
